摘要: The platform approach to hardware design was originally suggested as a method of broadening the domain applications custom VLSI chip can be applied by introducing additional programmability. In this paper we extend idea with objective range FPGAs making runtime resource allocation available for that do not support run time reconfiguration natively. We explore constructing virtual FPGA; is reconfigurable implemented on top native FPGA. gives an overview application programmer's interface our proposed and some communication primitives have construct platform. note there need more work in identifying computation strike balance between supporting useful abstractions having efficient implementations typical FPGAs.
