摘要: Purpose To evaluate the amount of ultrasound (US) used, best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), and corneal endothelial cell loss in bimanual microincision cataract surgery (MICS) coaxial phacoemulsification. Setting Department Ophthalmology, Universidade Gama Filho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Methods A prospective randomized study included 30 patients (60 eyes) with bilateral cataract. All had phacoemulsification 1 eye MICS fellow eye. The US time effective were measured intraoperatively. BCVA central evaluated both groups over a 1-year follow-up. results between 2 compared.
