Effect of annealing temperature on the magnetic properties of Zn0.97Al0.03O nanoparticles

摘要: Al doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by the sol-gel technique. X-ray diffraction, selected area electron inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission and photoelectron spectroscopy results ruled out impurity other phases in Zn0.97Al0.03O annealing at different temperatures. Magnetic measurements indicate that all samples have obvious room temperature ferromagnetism. With increase of temperatures from 500 to 900 °C, saturation magnetization decreases with reduction defect-related emission. Together paramagnetic resonance results, observed ferromagnetic ordering is consider be related singly charged oxygen vacancies.
