Goal setting in recovery: families where a parent has a mental illness or a dual diagnosis

摘要: Goal setting is an important element within mental health recovery models; however, parenting and children are rarely recognized in such approaches. This study outlines a family planning model where parent has or dual substance problem. The differences between types (parent with illness diagnosis) members children) illustrated terms of goals across 11 domains. There were total 33 parents 50 from 10 diagnosis families. Education specifically knowledge all families appear especially for whose diagnosis. Specific achievement levels each type also outlined. Clear areas action by clinicians indicated this study.
