摘要: Abstract The shock response of the TiB2-B4C composite has been studied by experimental and theoretical analysis. plate impact experiments Doppler pin test system (DPS) were used to collect free surface velocity sample. Results showed that regular grain TiB2 was distributed uniformly in grown B4C. intergranular fracture mainly occurred along boundary phase, while transcrystalline happened within B4C particles. history Hugoniot elastic limit (HEL) 16.09 GPa. analytical models failure wave propagation established when delayed effect crack ignored considered respectively. It can be concluded increased from 0.67C0 0.69 C0 at pressure 5.46–12.17 GPa, attenuated with distance. had a great on propagation, which pressure, decreased
