摘要: The response of thermoluminescent dosimeters to electron irradiations depends on the radiation dose, mean energy at position dosimeter in phantom, and size dosimeter. In this paper semi‐empirical expression proposed by Holt et al. [Phys. Med. Biol. 20, 559–570 (1975)] is combined with calculated dose fraction determine dosimetry (TLD) as a function size. photon fractions, defined relative contributions electrons bremsstrahlung photons total for clinical beam, are Monte Carlo techniques using EGS4. Agreement between measured TLD very good. We show that considerable reduction per unit low energies, i.e., large depths offset an ever‐increasing contribution beams. This renders sufficiently reliable measurements over entire depth distribution despite dependence beam energy.
