摘要: Foraminifera include calcareous or agglutinated, testbearing, single-celled and amoeboid-like organisms, found in great abundance various marine environments encompassing the deep sea, coastal waters intertidal habitats such as lagoons, estuaries, salt marshes mangroves[1-3]. Their diversity is highest tropical waters, gradually declining towards North South poles[4]. The distribution of foraminifera are influenced by bathymetry, physicochemical characteristics sediment water quality. assemblages have been used to interpret palaeoenvironmental conditions[5], palaeomonsoons[6], palaeodepth[7], palaeotemperature[8], tsunami[9], transport[10] pollution profiles[11,12]. From this perspective, there a potential for become useful mangrove settings[13] because characterized agglutinated PEER REVIEW ABSTRACT
