摘要: Stimulated Raman scattering from a magnetized plasma has been examined using the set of Vlasov–Maxwell equations. The incident laser light, propagating in form an extraordinary mode, decays into scattered mode together with electron‐Bernstein waves. For sufficiently strong magnetic fields and high electron temperatures, growth rates these waves become comparable to field‐free values. At relatively low densities field can result light at ω0/2 (where ω0 is frequency), frequency associated radiation emitted quarter‐critical density region unmagnetized plasmas. We have compared results kinetic theory analysis observations numerical experiments 1 1/2 ‐D electromagnetic particle code found them be good agreement.
