摘要: Cocaine-related immunosuppression is asumed to have serious consequences, but its evaluation in drug-addicted subjects lacking. In this study performed with materials from addicted receiving intravenous cocaine and normal control subjects, acute effects on cytokine production vivo mononuclear cells vitro were determined. Acute administration resulted (a) increased white blood cell lymphocyte counts, (b) decreased tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) interleukin (IL)-10 serum levels; (c) depressed TNF-α, IL-10 IL-12 by unstimulated or LPSstimulated cells; (d) TNF-a PHA-stimulated cells. These observations suggest that has stimulatory effect TNF-α lymphocytes inhibitory action monocyte/macrophages. treatment of monocyte-enriched preparations donors suppression production. A blood-brain barrier model was constructed using human brain microvascular endothelial transmigration correctly regulated Thl Th2 cytokines preferential migration “memory” T inhibited cocaethylene. cocaethylene HIV-1 titers the brain-side model.
