POSS Core star-shape molecular hybrid materials: Effect of the chain length and POSS content on dielectric properties

摘要: A series of inorganic–organic molecular hybrids, poly(styrene-co-octavinyl-polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane)s (PS-POSSs), were synthesized, and their structures properties characterized by FTIR, 1H-NMR, 29Si-NMR, XRD, optical microscopy (OM), atomic force (AFM). The chemical incorporation POSS into polymer matrixes achieves uniform dispersion makes the resultant hybrids display good film formability. relationship between structure these dielectric constants formation mechanism low constant investigated. mainly originates from increase free volume, involving volume intrinsic porosity an in owing to steric hindrance bulky POSS. latter plays a dominant role constant.
