Re-entrainment of circadian rhythms after phase-shifts of the Zeitgeber.

摘要: To describe anabrupt shift of the Zeitgeber sufficiently, it is necessary to indicate whether phase has been advanced or delayed, for how many hours shifted, and what part lengthened shortened respectively. The entrained circadian system usually follows a in same direction by an equal amount. However, there can be exceptions both these rules: a) instantaneous 12-h (symmertric) always represents delya (= doubling one-half its period).
