The effect of temperature of the root medium and of the growing point of the shoot on growth, water content and sugar content of maize leaves.

摘要: Maize seedlings were grown in nutrient solution under 18-h daylength and the temperatures of root medium growing points leaves varied independently between 20 degrees 5 C; leaf growth rate water content continuously recorded. The effect temperature on was influenced by plant balance subject to osmotic adaptation which proceeded faster more complete at favourable temperatures.-G.M.H.
