摘要: Abstract The temporal and spatial distribution of African savanna grassland fires has been examined, the areal extent these estimated for subequatorial continent. have investigated using remote sensing techniques imagery collected by low-light sensors on Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) satellites Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) which is aboard polar-orbiting National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites. DMSP used to map evolution burning over all continent/1/ analysis AVHRR estimate in southern hemispheric savannas. work presented primarily reflects completed year 1987. However, comparisons made with other years representativeness 1987 discussed.
