摘要: For the past two decades, Tunisia has been undertaken important structural reforms, which call in most cases for market and trade liberalization (agricultural adjustment program, GATT free area with European Union). The private-led type of growth strategy less government intervention culminated these last years into a more rapid economic openness. Within this context, paper examines agricultural sector role development process its interactions other sectors using time-series cointegration techniques. We use annual data from 1961 to 2005 estimate VAR model that includes GDP indices five Tunisian economy. Empirical results study indicate long-run all tend move together (cointegrate). But, short-run, seems have limited as driving force economy. In addition, output may not be conducive directly non-agricultural short-run. This previous policies were biased against agriculture.
