摘要: Abstract Bi-doped TiO 2 catalyst was prepared by sol–gel method and characterized thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction spectra (XRD), photo electronic spectroscopy (XPS), UV–Vis diffused reflectance (DRS), photoluminescence (PLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive of X-rays (EDAX) BET surface area. The photocatalytic activity the catalysts were evaluated for degradation isoproturon herbicide under solar light irradiation. UV–Visible DRS showed red shift in optical absorption. presence Bi 3+ δ + species are playing a vital role minimizing hole recombination resulting higher compared to bare .
