Three-body ionic recombination at moderate and high gas densities

摘要: The formula of Natanson for the ionic recombination coefficient is adjusted so that it covers general case in which positive and negative ions have different mean free paths trapping radii, they neutral particles masses. In addition, yields same results low-density region as does quasi-equilibrium statistical theory. predictions are satisfactory agreement with data obtained by McGowan on oxygen.
