摘要: The influence of chloride ion concentration during the photo-assisted electrochemical degradation simulated textile effluent, using a commercial Ti/Ru0.3Ti0.7O2 anode, was evaluated. Initially, effect applied current and supporting electrolyte on conversion ions to form reactive chlorine species in 90 min experiment analyzed order determine maximum production species. optimum conditions encountered (1.5 A 0.3 mol dm−3 NaCl) were subsequently employed for effluent. efficiency process determined through analysis chemical oxygen demand (COD), total organic carbon (TOC), presence organochlorine products phytotoxicity. Photo-assisted more efficient COD TOC removal than technique alone. With simultaneous UV irradiation, reduced quantity produced, indicating that photolysis led formation hydroxyl radicals. This fact turns simple into an advanced oxidation process.
