摘要: Numerical study of unsteady fluid flow and heat transfer through a rotating curved rectangular channel with aspect ratio 2 curvature 0.05 has been performed by using spectral-based numerical method, covering wide range the rotational parameter, Taylor number Ta , for both positive negative rotation channel. In this paper, characteristics are investigated under combined action centrifugal, Coriolis buoyancy forces Dean De = 1000. For rotation, we solutions 0 ≤ ≤500, it is found that chaotic turns into steady-state periodic or multi-periodic flows. on other hand, –500 ≤0, undergoes various instabilities. Typical contours secondary patterns temperature profiles obtained at several values consists asymmetric two- to eightvortex solutions. The present shows convective significantly enhanced as becomes stronger enhances more effectively than GANIT J. Bangladesh Math. Soc. Vol. 37 (2017) 73-92
