摘要: A modified dialyzer with vitamin E and antioxidant defense parameters. Background Oxidative stress, increased lipid peroxidation, decreased activity of systems may contribute to the accelerated development atherosclerosis in patients receiving hemodialysis therapy for chronic renal failure. We investigated influence on parameters who were using a dialyzer. Methods In eight hemodialyzed patients, erythrocyte enzymes, superoxide dismutase (SOD) glutathione peroxidase (GPX), plasma total capacity (TAC), concentration malondialdehyde (MDA), vitamins A, E, C investigated. Each parameter was measured before after hemodialysis. The study divided into three periods. period lasted weeks, during this time, 10 hemodialyses performed. first second periods carried out conventional dialyzer, Terumo CL-S15, but period, received 400 mg perorally each third CL-E15. All treated by erythropoietin 50 mg/day pyridoxine 20 entire study. Results peroral administration led significant increase serum (22%), no other found. (33%) TAC decrease MDA. Conclusion results our suggest that provided more effective than patients.
