摘要: Previous neuroimaging evidence revealed an "invasion" of "hand" over "lower limb" primary sensorimotor cortex in paraplegic subjects, with the exception a rare patient who received surgical motor reinnervation hip-thigh muscles by ulnar nerve. Here, authors show that functional reorganization cortico-muscular and cortico-cortical oscillatory coupling was related to recovery patient, as paradigmatic case long-term plasticity human after muscles. This conclusion based on electroencephalographic electromyographic data collected while normal control subjects performed isometric muscle contraction left hand or lower limb.
