摘要: Bronchopleural fistula is a potentially fatal condition that may result after variety of clinical conditions, most commonly pulmonary resection. Either surgical or bronchoscopic repair required to definitively correct these lesions, though small number resolve spontaneously with optimal ventilatory care and other options available an intensivist in the management this complex condition. The successful bronchopleural depends on formulating treatment strategy tailored individual patient needs.
