摘要: Self Contained Aerosol Dual Delivery System (SCADDS) is a pocket-sized inhaler for delivering inhaled therapeutic or recreational aerosols simultaneously and separately via oral nasal routes. A handle assembly has removable mouthpiece, cartridge penetration needles, puncture needle protective cover, shuttle, cam, valves conduits from the needles to individual nozzles inhalation. contains separate reservoirs of solutions The reservoirs, impermeable bags with fluid dissolved gas in solution, are punctured when attached assembly. Inhalation slides shuttle toward mouthpiece opens release solution. aerosol into lungs while provides pleasant aroma. To enhance inhalation solution properties reservoir may contain finely divided solids semi-permeable membranous bag, second reservoir, be by filter such that these do not occlude Degassed water used organic compound solubility solutions. Alternative bag systems twin spring driven cylinders provide proper pressure aerosolize fluids. Hydraulic intensification, piezoelectric pumping devices, electromechanically pumps alternative pressurization systems.
