摘要: Abstract The synthesis, EPR, magnetic and Mossbauer properties of two iron(III) complexes are reported. heterodinuclear iron(III)-copper(II) complex Cu(salen)Fe(acac)2NO3 is obtained as an adduct from the reaction mononuclear moieties, Cu(salen) molecule Fe(acac)2NO3 acting a precursor dinuclear unit. latter itself has been prepared by ligand substitution tris-acetylacetonate Fe(acac)3. characterized comparing mono- complex. identified its typical IR spectrum with main nitrate vibrations at 1380, 1250 1010 cm−1 axial S=5/2 EPR in solid state. Ligand rearrangement occurs solution indicated presence only ionic rhombic spectrum. presents very modified spectrum, where copper(salen) phenolic oxygen vibration bound-nitrate have disappeared; additionally no can be recorded X-band frequency. data interpreted using spin-Hamiltonian formalism. From susceptibility measurements, state, following set parameters determined: g=1.99, D=4.15 for complex, J=−3 cm−1, g=2.05, D=−0.1 indicating effective antiferromagnetic interaction between metal ions. studies yield: D=0.45 J=−1.5 D=−0.20
