摘要: The polymerase chain reaction is an in vitro method for primer directed enzymatic amplification of specific target DNA sequences. technique was used to detect human papillomavirus types 11 and 16 simultaneously cellular recovered from cervical smears 38 women referred colposcopy evaluate cytological abnormality 10 with no history abnormality. shown be both sensitive detecting such that a single molecule detected 10(5) cells. Of the abnormality, all were positive on testing reaction; 36 infected type 22 dually 16. Seven also or use will facilitate epidemiological investigation aetiological role neoplasia. This preliminary analysis suggests prevalence infection greater than previously reported.
