摘要: Abstract A model for pion production is studied in the context of a cascade calculation. The pions are produced through Δ-resonances which allowed to decay. emitted assumed interact with other nucleons by forming new Δ -resonances. time evolution and Δ-population studied; it found that Δs always more numerous than during sequence baryon-baryon collisions. spectrum considerably better agreement experiment one obtained frozen Δ-isobars. presence appears be important cooling system. multiplicity deviate from Poisson distribution. yield overestimated at least 25%; this result discussed within framework conventional dynamics.
