摘要: Abstract Multiattribute utility theory is appropriate for developing preference models to address value trade-offs among multiple objectives and uncertainty in complex problems. The purpose of this paper illustrate by an example how one puts the into practice. chosen concerns energy policy. Specifically, 11-attribute function over attributes including deaths, SO2 pollution, radioactive waste, health effects, electrical generated assessed. A dialogue indicating procedure used, with comments on why various questions were asked, presented detail. resulting being used examine policies differing terms main fuel (fossil or nuclear) degree conservation.
