摘要: An alternate set of equations to describe the electrodynamics superconductors at a macroscopic level is proposed. These resemble originally proposed by London brothers but later discarded them. Unlike conventional are relativistically covariant, and they can be understood as arising from ``rigidity'' superfluid wave function in covariant microscopic theory. They predict that an internal ``spontaneous'' electric field exists superconductors, externally applied fields, both longitudinal transverse, screened over penetration length, magnetic fields are. The associated dielectric predicts much steeper plasmon dispersion relation than theory, blueshift minimum frequency for small samples. It argued lead difficulties removed present do not contradict any known experimental facts. Experimental tests discussed.
