Exchange coupling in transition-metal ferromagnets

摘要: The interatomic exchange integrals ${J}_{\mathrm{ij}},$ associated with effective interactions between local magnetic moments at sites i and j in bcc Fe, fcc Co, Ni are calculated using the real-space linear-muffin-tin method within atomic sphere approximation (LMTO-ASA). Our results excellent agreement those obtained by k-space LMTO-ASA calculations.
