摘要: Mimosa pudica Linn. (Family: Mimosaceae) is used as an ornamental plant due to its thigmonastic and nyctinastic movements. M. also avoid or cure several disorders like cancer, diabetes, hepatitis, obesity, urinary infections. famous for anticancer alkaloid, mimosine, along with valuable secondary metabolites tannins, steroids, flavonoids, triterpenes, glycosylflavones. A wide array of pharmacological properties antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, antinociceptive, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, antidiarrheal, hypolipidemic activities, diuretic, antiparasitic, antimalarial, hypoglycemic have been attributed different parts pudica. Glucuronoxylan polysaccharide extruded from seeds drug release formulations high swelling index. This review covers a thorough examination functional bioactives well phytomedicinal attributes the purpose exploring pharmaceutical nutraceutical potentials.
