摘要: ABSTRACT Cancer during pregnancy, referred to as gestational cancer (GC), is infrequent but canoccur in 1.0% of pregnant women. Liver and breastcarcinomas are two examples types that present challenges obstetri -cian due late and/or delayed diagnosis Delays lim -it choices available physicians regarding surgery, radiation, chemotherapy. Inview such clinical situations, a role for maternal serum placental biomarker(MSPB) screening results contributing should be recognized;overlooking data GC could result from lack knowledge understand -ing ofMSPB bl y , ch em st ra dp.I -n t olg i sek d ruv fb mMSPB programs obtained first- second-trimester patient data.Using liver examples, review commentary seeksto demonstrate MSPB levels, profiles, patterns, cellular responses pro -vide foundational planning invasive or noninvasive methods procedures(biopsy, imaging, scans, surgery) attain soon possible pregnan -cy. Finally, epidemiological risk studies aid providing base -line information decisions their -posed roles reducing lifetime malignancies cancer.IntroductionCancer not butcan occur about 1% population. (HCC)is comparatively low incidence USA; however, ranks top 3regarding deaths worldwide
