摘要: It is common knowledge that “old grads” are more generous than young alumni and donations higher for reunion-year classes others, but what the quantitative impact of these factors? This paper studies life cycle effects on participation rates gift size using a 73,000-gift sample over ten-year period to small state university. The author estimates time patterns cycles by means regression equations, whose potential use he demonstrates simulations.
