摘要: Background Lipoxygenases (LOXs) are important dioxygenases in cellular organisms. LOXs contribute to plant developmental processes and environmental responses. However, a systematic comprehensive analysis has not been focused on the LOX gene family poplar. Therefore, present study, we performed of poplar. Results Using bioinformatics methods, identified total 20 genes. These genes were clustered into two subfamilies. The structure motif composition each subfamily relatively conserved. distributed unevenly across nine chromosomes. PtLOX appears have expanded due high tandem low segmental duplication events. Microarray showed that number different expression pattern disparate tissues under various stress treatments. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was further confirm responses MeJA treatment poplar results show regulated by (Methyl jasmonate) treatment. Conclusions This study provides reported here will be useful for conducting future functional genomics studies uncover roles growth development.
