摘要: Data from the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) mission were exploited to explore its potential in providing ecosystem information. Here strength of an innovative relationship, between SMOS V620 algorithm data Ecosystem Functional Properties (EFPs) derived flux towers data, was preliminary investigated for Africa South America forests. Correlation also explored above ground forest biomass. High correlation values found vegetation optical depth (VOD) a AGB reference map, with EFPs at year level (2014). Different VOD-EFPs trends different latitudinal belts, characterizing wet dry The results suggest that VOD represent tool able provide repeated information on biomass processes tropical subtropical ranges.
