摘要: A major mode of deterioration in fully-flexible long-life pavements (LLP) is surface-initiated top–down cracking. If surface maintenance suspended, cracks may conflict the concept, as they will propagate into structural layers and start. The risk cracking influenced by a number interacting factors. Critical stresses result, e.g. from 3D loading situation at or near pavement due to contact between tire surface, sudden change asphalt layer temperature gradient, traffic low-temperatures material related factors like ageing particle segregation stripping binder.
