Photorefractive polymer with side-chain second-order nonlinear optical and charge-transporting groups

摘要: The authors report the synthesis and characterization of a new, low-T{sub g} polymer exhibiting photorefractive effect. contains second-order nonlinear optical chromophore, charge transporting group, long aliphatic chain covalently linked to backbone. A sensitizer (C{sub 60}) was molecularly doped into facilitate photocharge generation. photoconductivity, electrooptic (Pockels) effect, properties are reported. 27 refs., 10 figs.
