摘要: Intracellular lumens were present in thyroid follicle cells rats treated with thyroxine for 1–2 days, but not normal rats. Their intracellular nature was ascertained by serial sections examined the electron microscope and further marked their lower density as compared to extracellular lumen. The limiting membrane of formed microvilli which similar at apical cell surface. surface area average lumen calculated be about twice that plasma membrane. labeled a short time after injection 125I indicating membrane, like had iodinating capacity. Follicle containing characterized narrow portion high concentration exocytotic vesicles cytoplasm. fusion appears most likely mechanism formation possibility invagination cannot excluded.
