Robust collider limits on heavy-mediator Dark Matter

摘要: We discuss how to consistently use Effective Field Theories (EFTs) set universal bounds on heavy-mediator Dark Matter at colliders, without prejudice the model underlying a given effective interaction. illustrate method for Majorana fermion, universally coupled Standard Model quarks via dimension-6 axial-axial four-fermion operator. recast ATLAS mono-jet analysis and show that considerable fraction of parameter space, seemingly excluded by na¨ive EFT interpretation, is actually still unexplored. Consistently limits can be reinterpreted in any specific model. provide two explicit examples chosen operator compare reach our model-independent with obtainable dedicated analyses.
