Cosmology from the structure of the Lyman-alpha forest

摘要: A convincing physical picture for the Lyman-alpha forest has emerged from simulations and related semi-analytic studies of structure formation models. Observations can be used in context this to study cosmology using forest. With availability well motivated predictions, not only it become possible test models directly, but processes involved appear simple enough that we attempt reconstruct aspects underlying observations.
