摘要: We examine whether the benefits of high school work experience have changed over last 20 years by comparing effects for 1979 and 1997 cohorts National Longitudinal Survey Youth. Our main specifications suggest that future annual earnings working h per week in senior year fallen from 17.4% earlier cohort, measured 1987–1989, to 12.1% later 2008–2010. The gains diminished similar amounts men women but much more substantially those who do not attend college than do. further show most differential between can be attributed way employment is related subsequent adult occupational attainment.
