摘要: We discuss finite-size effects on symmetry breaking in curved space-times with some compact dimensions, and the implications for inflationary cosmologies. Infrared behavior de Sitter universe is studied by examination of lowest-mode contribution to effective potential an N-component scalar field. find that at Planck energy shape near symmetric state can significantly deviate from overall flatness condition necessary implementation new inflation. This effect principle rule out Planck-scale transitions.
