摘要: Abstract Transformation is one of the mechanisms acquisition foreign genetic material leading to emergence multidrug resistant (MDR) bacteria. Recently, human serum albumin (HSA) was shown specifically increase transformation frequency in nosocomial pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii. To further assess relevance HSA as a possible modulator A. baumannii host-pathogen interactions, this work we examined effect different fluids. We observed significant frequencies presence pleural fluid, whole blood cells and liquid ascites, lesser extent with urine. The effects correlate both bacterial content found assayed patient Taken together, these results are agreement our previous findings that highlight host signal ability trigger natural
