摘要: Abstract Resting spores of Plasmodiophora brassicae (clubroot) can survive for many years in soil, so crop rotation has not been considered as a major tool clubroot management. However, it was known if 2- to 5-year rotations would reduce the pathogen inoculum soil and alleviate disease impact. Two field trials were conducted at heavily infested site. In 2012, susceptible, moderately susceptible resistant canola cultivars seeded plots with 0- 4-year break from canola. estimated using quantitative PCR assay. second trial on adjacent 2013, three evaluated. A ≥2 resulted >90% reduction resting relative continuous or 1-year break, which, however, failed severity substantially cultivars. Plants these died before maturity stunted breaks. ≥2-year increased yield all canola, but low ( 1230 kg ha−1 by 32–76%. It showed here that, first time, most P. disintegrate within two soil. We also demonstrate that under heavy infestation impact only marginally, increase substantially. Therefore, >2-year is recommended use management
