摘要: An improved process is disclosed for photodynamically inactivating viruses in red blood cell containing compositions by adding vitamin E or a derivative thereof, such as Trolox, to the and photosensitizer composition prior irradiation. Addition of thereof protective cells but not be inactivated. Cells irradiated this manner exhibit reduced leakage potassium ion, loss negative charges from membrane compared treated absence derivative. Red sterilized method are better preserved during storage their life-time circulation vivo enhanced.
