摘要: Summary Purpose To discuss cultural safety and critique the provision of culturally appropriate maternity services to remote Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander women in Australia. Procedure The literature policies around ‘culture’ ‘cultural safety’ are discussed applied areas Findings current women, particularly those living Australia, appears largely inadequate. safe care requires health system reform at all levels including: individual practitioner response; educational preparation practitioners; delivery development policy local, state national level.
