摘要: Mobility, housing and population movements have long been a concern of planners, demographers geographers alike. More recently, focus has turned to the phenomenon known as ‘sea’ and/or ‘tree change’ with various studies voicing about implications involved in these types movement coastal regional locations, well for nation whole (Gurran et al. 2005; Murphy 2002; Stokes 2008; Walmsley 2003). Of equal concern, but currently under-researched, is increasing growth residential golf course developments an alternate option retirees, empty-nesters, or simply those seeking resort-style living arrangements. This type development represents another aspect exclusive occurring not only on suburban fringes, also hinterland locations. Through review current literature, this paper considers forces driving development. It questions whether there are any benefits be gained by allowing go ahead what might exist future management planning practice.
