摘要: The purpose of this study was to identify predictors performance within seven Navy occupational groups. Life history, expectations, motivation, personality, and aptitude variables were used as a 2-year effectiveness criterion for 7,923 enlisted men women. Results multiple regression analyses showed that the most powerful included: years schooling, school expulsions suspensions, two Comrey Personality Scales Social Conformity Orderliness, arrests, age, General Classification Test (aptitude), Peer Cohesion (expectations). Comparisons across groups indicated development separate equations each occupation not supported. Recommendations made improve selection procedures change several aspects organization, suggestions which would be expected increase rates effective performance.
