摘要: Three fundamental ontogenetic pathways lead to the development of size differences between males and females. Males females may grow at same rate for different durations (bimaturism), duration rates, or a mix differences. While patterns growth adult body are well established many haplorhines, extent which affect strepsirrhine trajectories remains unclear. Here, we present iterative piecewise regression models that describe ontogeny mass five lorisoid species (i.e., lorises galagos) from Duke Lemur Center. We test hypotheses that, like most sexual dimorphism (SSD) is result bimaturism, monomorphic similar duration. confirm galagos in this sample (Galago moholi Otolemur garnettii) show significant SSD achieved through bimaturism. Unlike lemurids, diversity patterns. Loris tardigradus does follow lemur-like trajectory monomorphism but Nycticebuscoucang Nycticebus pygmaeus achieve larger female sizes mixture contrary previous assumptions, there both similarity difference comparably sized galagos. Furthermore, when profiles lemurid compared, it evident lorisoids faster shorter period time.
