Lopinavir/ritonavir combined with twice-daily 400 mg indinavir: pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in blood, CSF and semen

摘要: Objectives: To evaluate the steady-state blood plasma (BP), CSF and seminal (SP) pharmacokinetics (PK) of twice-daily indinavir 400 mg lopinavir/ritonavir. Methods: Ten HIV-1-positive men on lopinavir/ritonavir participated in a PK study. sampling was performed before 2 weeks after adding to lopinavir/ritonavir-containing regimens. BP, SP RNA levels, CD4 counts chemistry were checked at baseline indinavir. Results: At baseline: lopinavir parameters (n 5 10) BP within expected levels. Median trough concentrations 5) below limit detection (BLD) (i.e. 80 ng/mL seven eight samples, all semen samples collected.
