摘要: Diclofenac sodium, a phenylacetic acid derivative, is non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic agent advocated for use in rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disease, ankylosing spondylitis and allied conditions, the treatment of pain resulting from minor surgery, trauma dysmenorrhoea. Published data indicate that diclofenac 75 to 150mg daily (25 50mg 3 times daily) comparable efficacy with ordinary aspirin 5g indomethacin arthritis osteoarthritis. Available suggest patients osteoarthritis sodium tolerability naproxen, ibuprofen, sulindac diflunisal. As oral generally given divided doses it may be at disadvantage relative less frequent administration diflunisal although there some evidence diclofenac's when administered twice daily, or once as slow release tablet. The drug also available suppositories ampoules intramuscular injection. No one non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents most suitable all requiring such therapy, should considered along other drugs its type arthritic patient.
