摘要: AbstractA rheomixing process has been developed for processing immiscible metallic liquids. In this paper, a binary Zn–Pb system is used to demonstrate the process. During process, liquid Zn and Pb are premixed in miscibility gap using propeller mixer achieve coarse dispersion of droplets matrix. The mixture then transferred into twin-screw rheomixer, where it continuously cooled down temperature below monotectic form semi-solid slurry under intensive shear mixing action rheomixer. finally extruded through cylindrical extrusion die continuous bar. microstructure alloys produced by method characterised fine particles distributed uniformly throughout effects alloy composition on resultant have investigated.
